Yu was awarded the 9th Frontier Salon Nagase Prize (Special Prize) from The Frontier Salon Foundation, A General Incorporated Foundation.
The Nagase Prize is an award given to young researchers who are pioneering new fields of science and technology with new concepts that greatly contribute to society. Yu has been selected as a recipient in recognition of his “Studies on complex sleep architecture: implications of dreams & medical applications.”

Shinnosuke (2nd year student, Master’s Program in Medical Sciences, University of Tsukuba) performed an oral presentation at the Student Presentation, Medical & Life Sciences at Tsukuba Global Science Week 2018 and won the Outstanding Speaker Award.
