A co-authored paper by Shinichi (3rd year student, Ph.D. Program in Humanics, University of Tsukuba) has been accepted by The Journal of Chemical Physics.
Shinichi analyzed the data measured by a graduate of Professor Kano’s Lab and summarized it into the figures. The paper was accepted to the Journal of Chemical Physics, an international peer-reviewed scientific journal.

Since physics’s data shape and features are different from biology, analyzing and summarizing data was tough for me. I will utilize what I learned from the experience for my future works.

Yu was awarded the 9th Frontier Salon Nagase Prize (Special Prize) from The Frontier Salon Foundation, A General Incorporated Foundation.
The Nagase Prize is an award given to young researchers who are pioneering new fields of science and technology with new concepts that greatly contribute to society. Yu has been selected as a recipient in recognition of his “Studies on complex sleep architecture: implications of dreams & medical applications.”
